What they offer: Education and fun Science Kits
A little about ECRTOPY Science Team:
"Ectropy Science was founded by Dr. Walter Thompson and Dr. Beverly Franklin-Thompson in 2007. Ectropy is defined as making order out of chaos—and our goal is to simplify the learning process and spread the joy and knowledge of science to as many children and parents as possible.
When our children showed great interest in science early on in elementary school, we began to volunteer in classrooms and at science & technology museums to help teachers turn dry science lessons into captivating hands on experiences. We wanted to find a way to bring that experience into the home, to get kids off the couch, putting down the video games and getting them excited about science by actually interacting with it. As a result, we developed Secret Science Team Kits—and found other science-oriented products—that maximize fun and education."
My opinion: My family was sent Assignment 1003. Our whole family got together on this one. The kit was all about a local sporting goods store that had been vandalized and we had to find the real culprit. We all had so much fun, even our 3 year old got to get in on the fun. My husband says I should get the kids some more kits for Christmas because they are had so much fun but where also learning at the same time.
