Under Malick’s careful direction
THE TREE OF LIFE showcases complicated and haunting powerhouse performances by Academy-Award® nominee Brad Pitt (Fight Club), Academy Award® winner Sean Penn (Milk, Mystic River)and newcomer Jessica Chastain (The Help).

An impressionistic story of a Midwestern family in the 1950's, the film follows the life journey of the eldest son, Jack (played as an adult by Sean Penn), through the innocence of childhood to his disillusioned adult years as he tries to reconcile a complicated relationship with his father (Brad Pitt)."

Our Opinion: My husband and I sat down to watch this movie together and honestly we had two different opinions. I loved it and could watch it over and over. I love that it offers so much about family insight. My hubs on the other hand said he would rate it one of the top ten most boring movies he has ever seen. So I would say it is geared more toward women, Well of course because we all just love Brad Pitt!

I was not compensated for this review. I was offered a product or products to give my honest and fair opinion. You experience and opinion may vary.
