The Art of Getting By (Movie Review) Available on Blu-Ray and DVD Today!

"Summary: Get caught up in the story of an aspiring young artist and a “popular” girl who find themselves in a charming yet unconventional high school romance.  A Sundance Film Festival favorite, THE ART OF GETTING BY is a delightful coming-of-age film set against the backdrop of New York City. Experience the beauty and emotional depth of THE ART OF GETTING BY on Blu-ray and DVD November 29th from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment.

George (Freddie Highmore,
Golden Compass, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory), a lonely and fatalistic teen who’s made it all the way to his senior year without ever having done a real day of work, is befriended by Sally (Emma Roberts, It’s Kind of a Funny Story, What’s Wrong with Virginia), a popular but complicated girl who recognizes in him a kindred spirit.

THE ART OF GETTING BY features stellar performances by an all-star supporting cast, including Michael Angarano (Almost Famous), Rita Wilson (Jingle All the Way), Sam Robards (American Beauty), Alicia Silverstone (Clueless), Elizabeth Reaser (Twilight: Breaking Dawn), and Blair Underwood (“Dirty Sexy Money”).
Our Opinion: Me and Little T sat down with some popcorn and soda to watch The Art of Getting By. I love the entire idea of this movie, I laughed, cried, giggled, sobbed. What a wonderful movie. George is a loner living in his own world when he meets Sally. They go through many fun little adventures and experience hurt, disappointment, love, pain and much more. You can really relate with the characters and the movie defiantly keeps you wanting more, and even though I won't say what happens the ending is just as great as the movie.

I was not compensated for this review. I was offered a product or products to give my honest and fair opinion. You experience and opinion may vary.
