Texas Instruments TI-nspire cx Handheld Review and Giveaway

Texas Instruments are defiantly a well trusted name for technology. I can remember being in middle school and having Texas Instruments calculators and even going into high school when getting our school list we had to have a Texas Instruments calculator. I have used them growing up and now as an adult I am still using them.

I was lucky enough to get to review the Texas Instruments TI-nspire cx Handheld. Some of the features are the

  • Color, backlit display
  • 100 MB storage memory/64 MB operating memory
  • Powered by the TI-Nspire Rechargeable Battery (included)
  • 3D Graphing
  • You can import images and overlay with graphical elements for real-world activities
  • Built-in interactive geometry capabilities
  • Easy -to-use computer-like features, touchpad works like a computer mouse
  • You are able to save and review your work
  • This is approved on standardized tests- SAT,PSAT/NMSQT, ACT, AP, IB and Praxis exams

Our Opinion: The Mister has been asking for a new calculator for awhile now for work, but he made it very clear it could not just be any calculator it had to be a Texas Instruments Calculator. The one is using now is the same one he used in high school, and while it still works great he has roughed it up pretty good. He does alot of graphing in his work so he was just amazed at the color screen and the graphing. He oohed and awed for hours with this. He has taken it to work and all of the guys at work have been doing the same. The hubs says with the new technology it cuts his work time in half, he no longer has to do the long graphing he says this is so much easier and faster. He still brings it home and plays around with it, he says their are so many awesome features that he wants to keep working with it till he has everything down pat.

A huge Thank You to Texas Instruments who has offered (1) of my very lucky readers their very own TI-nspire cx Handheld.
