Our Opinion: Much to my surprise The Big Year turned out to be a pretty good movie. For me the movie was slow and somewhat boring but it did get better at the end and a little more exciting. My husband on the other hand thought this was one of the best movies he has seen. Not really sure to be honest if he would of liked it that much had it not have had Jack Black, but since it did he couldn't get enough.
